the ballet academy is opening registration for the mini march camp to 3-year-old children

Ballet Academy East, a dance studio on the Upper East Side, has opened registration for its mini march camp to children as young as 3 years old. The Ballet Studio, which offers a variety of ballet classes and programs for children 18 months to adult, will be hosting the Mini March Camp from March 19-29.

In the mini camp, girls aged 3 to 8 will have the opportunity to explore ballet, musical theatre, arts and crafts, cooking, acting, tap dancing, gymnastics and origami. Children can be registered for one or two weeks of camp.

The school also offers Summerdance, a summer program for girls aged 3 to 9. The camp lasts eight weeks and offers a complete artistic experience. Campers will participate in dance, art, drama, cooking, and swimming, among other activities.

“It really is a full arts program, it’s not just a dance program. We do crafts and origami, and teach costume making, which gives campers the opportunity to explore other aspects of the arts, in addition to ballet,” says Katie Eletto, Studio Manager . “It’s very unique in that they do a lot of different things, but it’s all about the performing arts.”

Summerdance will take place in two sessions: June 25-July 19 and July 23-August. 16. Campers can customize their own schedule and can register for non-consecutive weeks. If families register for Summerdance before April 4, they will receive $300 off either summer session or $600 off for the full eight weeks.

Ballet Academy East offers an early drop-off option starting at 8:15 a.m. It will also provide lunch for an additional charge. This is a peanut free facility.
