CAIRO – May 28, 2021: The Cairo Opera Ballet Company will perform the ballet Zorba at the Cairo Opera House on June 10.

The Cairo Opera Ballet company presented Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet “The Nutcracker” at the Cairo Opera House from December 23 to 29, 2020.

Cairo Opera conducted by Magdy Saber held a concert for Cairo Opera Ballet Company on September 13, 2020.

The performances included scenes from the most famous Egyptian and international ballet shows, including: “The Nile, Cleopatra, Valse Strauss, La Bayadere, Zorba, Don Quixote” among others.

In addition to a dance from Opera Aida’, performed by a group of performers.

The Cairo Opera Ballet Company was established in 1966 and associated with the Higher Institute of Ballet.

The members of the company were supervised by Soviet experts.

The company has performed in Egypt from several countries such as Moscow, Germany, France among others.

The members of the company regularly perform on stages around the world the regular repertoire that the late great artist Abdelmoneim Kamel launched, including Swan Lake.
